Dell on Thursday expanded its notebook lineup with the launch of the Inspiron 13 7000 2 in 1 (7373), Inspiron 15 7000 (7570), and Inspiron 13 5000 (5370) in India. The Dell Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 (7373) with Core i5 is priced at Rs. 76,290, while its Core i7 variant is available with a price tag of Rs. 96,190. The Core i5 variant of the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 (7570) is available at Rs. 77,190, whereas the Core i7 version is priced at Rs. 88,690.  All the new Windows 10-based notebooks have eight-generation Intel Core processors and are available for purchase through Dell's online store and select Dell exclusive stores, Croma, and Reliance Digital outlets. Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018) were officially launched on Tuesday. Samsung has revealed pricing and availability for the two smartphones in Vietnam. The latest mid-range smartphones from Samsung feature an Infinity Display and an IP68 dust and water resistance rating. These are the first phones from Samsung to have dual-front facing cameras.   Google has detailed all the key security enhancements that it has designed for Android Oreo. The latest Android platform is already running on a list of mobile devices including the recent Pixel and Nexus models - but as per the latest November figures, it comprises 0.5 percent of active Android devices. Android Marshmallow and Nougat already enhanced hardware security on devices. But with Android Oreo, Google has provided a new reference implementation of its Verified Boot that is designed to prevent devices from booting up with tampered software. The reference implementation, called Android Verified Boot 2.0, runs with Project Treble to enable security updates such as a common footer format and rollback protection.
